Mercury — Saltillo, Mexico

In an ongoing effort to fully support customers with international operations, Mercury Products opened a highly automated manufacturing and finishing facility in Saltillo, Mexico. This location will support engineering design, manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain management opportunities for Mexico and South American markets.

Capabilities at this facility are similar in breadth and scope to our US and Canadian operations, including:

Assembly
For over 60 years, Mercury Products has performed many value-added operations for customers, including fastening, riveting, special linings, individually wrapping or bagging, and line sequencing.
Fabrication
Our press equipment allows us to be cost competitive for prototyping, short run, as well as medium to high volume requirements. Our new tube bending and fabrication equipment is state-of-the-art and flexible from ½" up to 3" in diameter for round, or square and rectangular tubing.
Finishing
With a diverse customer base utilizing a wide range of product finishes, Mercury Products excels in providing plated, painted or polished parts of all types.
Kitting
For many of our customers, aftermarket or service parts are an integral part of the business.
Laser Cutting
Our state-of-the-art laser cutting equipment allows us to produce the most intricate of designs for various applications.
Materials
Mercury Products has extensive experience working with, and processing all types of materials including: hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, stainless steel, steel alloys, aluminized steel, aluminum, brass, and other materials per customer specifications.
Rolling
We have expertise in forming products in a range of sizes and configurations for a variety of applications including brackets, clamps, tube products, exhaust shields or straps.
Stamping
The Monterrey facility operates multiple presses ranging from 15 to 165 ton capacity and utilizes lean manufacturing cells for optimized throughput to support just-in-time production.
Welding
With certified, skilled expertise and weld control programs in metal and tungsten inert gas (MIG and TIG), resistance (RSW) and robotic equipment welding, Mercury Products insures that weld integrity is exceptional.
